Western Australia covers 2,645,615 square kilometres (or 1,021,478 sq

miles) long. The state includes all of the land on the Australian
continent located to the west of the 129th meridian.
Perth and
Fremantle are the most
popular tourist destinations in the state, although
Broome is probably the most
exotic location. Broome is however located a long way from Perth.
The south west region of the state is very popular with visitors,
especially locations such as
Margaret
River,
Mandurah,
Bussleton and
Albany. Each of these locations
have their own unique environments and individual styles.
