Gloucester Art House, Gloucester

The Art House is a home away from home. Located in the beautiful country town of Gloucester, adjacent to a park with the Gloucester River flowing through the backyard. Two large bedrooms with queen size beds, superior linen and towels, en-suite and a full bathroom. The open plan kitchen/dining/living room has a cosy atmosphere with a slow combustion fireplace, TV, VCR, DVD, CD (comprehnsive library of video and DVD's supplied) The fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave and dishwasher is stocked with most staples for a short break.(condiments, tea, coffee, sugar etc) The second story has an artists studio containing a futon and a loft with a double bed for extra visitors or any artist who would like to create a masterpiece. The home is centrally heated and air conditioned for your comfort. Electric blankets, heated towel rails and goose down doonas keep you warm and comfortable even on frosty winter nights. BBQ facilities, laundry and a double car garage are also at your disposal. Sit on the deck in big, comfy garden chairs and read a book, listen to the river, watch the birds or just relax and have a chat forgetting about the stress and hassles of the city life.
Only a 5 minute walk from town and hours away from care, the Art House is perfectly located for day trips. Surrounded by two mountain ranges, the Bucketts and the Mograni there are lots of walking trails, canoeing and fishing in the many rivers of the area. Barrington Tops is a world heritage area much like Tasmania but only 1 1/2 hours drive from the Art House. If you feel like a walk along the beach, the seaside town of Foster is only an hours drive away. Gloucester has a bowling club, tennis courts,horseback riding, swimming pool and a great golf course.
