The Cottage is a single storey double brick and cedar residence situated in the same region as The Crow's Nest. The house offers spectacular views of the world famous surf break to the north-west, and of the national park to the north and on the ridge behind. Surfers Point is clearly visible from the cottage.
Accommodation comprises lounge-dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms (two qs), and two bathrooms/ toilets. The cottage is stylish and well appointed, with quality fittings, and caters for groups of six - eight at a pinch.
A wide sliding door leads from the dining room to a brick paved area which is provided with timber table and chairs and a gas barbecue. There are spectacular views of the surf breaks from this area.
There is also a beautiful covered gazebo on a higher part of the block that provides a second outdoor seating area. The gazebo is equipped with a timber table and chairs and offers panoramic ocean views.
